SA: Police to get new guns from 2009=2
Opposition police spokesman David Ridgway welcomed the decision to issue police with
the new guns.
But he said the government should issue officers with Taser stun guns at the same time.
"To keep the community safe police officers need to be equipped with the best tools," he said.
