Qld: Boy, 12, serious after hit by truck
BRISBANE, April 20 AAP - A 12-year-old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after
a collision between his bicycle and a truck on Brisbane's southside.
A police spokeswoman said the boy was riding on Thorne Street at Birkdale about 12.20pm
(AEST) on Monday when he turned a corner into Agnes Street and collided with the front
of the truck.
He was transported by ambulance to the Mater Children's Hospital, where he remains
in a serious but stable condition.
